Limited Scope Legal Services Agreement and Website Disclaimer
Scope of Services: By booking an appointment through this website, you (the “Client”) are retaining The Law Offices of Tara Estwick (“Attorney”) to provide limited-scope legal services. These services are restricted to either ½ hour or one hour of legal counseling, advice, or guidance (“Consultation”) concerning the specific legal issue(s) you describe in your appointment form. This limited engagement does NOT establish an ongoing attorney-client relationship beyond the scheduled Consultation, nor does it include representation in court, drafting of legal documents, or communication with third parties unless expressly agreed in writing.
Confidentiality: All information shared by the Client with the Attorney during the booking process and the Consultation is confidential and protected by attorney-client privilege in accordance with applicable laws and professional rules of conduct.
Professional Conduct: The Attorney will provide legal services in accordance with the applicable Rules of Professional Conduct, maintaining the highest standards of ethical and professional responsibility.
Fees and Payment: The fee for the Consultation is $300 per hour, payable at the time of booking. Payment is required to confirm the appointment. No legal services will be rendered without full payment in advance. The fee is non-refundable once the Consultation has commenced. You may be eligible for a refund or reschedule if you cancel your appointment.
No Guarantee of Outcome: While the Attorney will provide competent and diligent legal advice based on the information, no specific outcome, result, or legal success is guaranteed.
Client Responsibilities: The Client agrees to provide accurate, complete, and truthful information to allow the Attorney to provide the most effective legal advice. Failure to do so may limit the Attorney’s ability to offer appropriate guidance.
